🔵 I would like to introduce Catlynn as a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

Cat has already overcome much adversity in her Jiu Jitsu journey, as she suffered an ACL tear that required surgery at the beginning of last year. Her goal was to return to Jiu Jitsu. Since then, she not only made a full recovery, but also wanted the additional challenge of performing a blue belt demonstration.

Cat was well prepared and overcame any additional adversity she faced. This was a well deserved promotion, and as her coach, I couldn't be more proud of her. Congratulations Catlynn!

Congratulations to our Karate and Jiu Jitsu students for their performances this past Sunday! Our TSD crew competed at the Capital District Open in Albany while our BJJ crew competed at the NAGA worlds in Morristown, NJ.

Both groups did an excellent job and I am very proud of everyone. Keep up the great work 👊🏻

Here is Caiden's yellow belt demonstration in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. These demonstrations are not required at our academy and typically reserved for adults. He requested to do a demonstration for his yellow belt, and was up for the challenge. Caiden is a great representation of the attitude and persistence it takes to rank up in this art. Well done Caiden!
