Our hearts are heavy hearing about the loss of these divers in the Maldives. The words “We found all four” hit hard for the entire dive community.

We stand with the families, friends, and everyone affected by this tragedy. We also want to recognize the incredible courage of the rescue and recovery teams who put themselves in harm’s way to bring closure to the families.

The recovery mission and DAN Europe statement were released today following the search operation in the Maldives. 

An international task force of specialists has been activated to support local authorities in the recovery of divers in Dhekunu Kandu.
