What a weekend! Our 117th Annual Outing was a tremendous success, and it simply wouldn’t have been possible without all of you.

To everyone who came out, brought the family, enjoyed the food, took part in the activities, supported our raffles, and spent the weekend with us — THANK YOU!

And an extra-special thank you to our incredible volunteers. From setup to cleanup, working the kitchen and grills, running events, selling tickets, helping with the kids’ activities, and everything in between — your time and hard work are what make this tradition possible year after year.

“Volunteers don’t necessarily have the time; they have the heart.”

Seeing the smiles, packed grounds, happy kids, old friends and new faces reminds us what Gopher Campfire is all about: community, conservation, and making memories together. ❤️

We couldn’t do it without you, and we’re already looking forward to Outing #118!

🔥 Kids Day is in full swing at the Gopher Campfire 117th Annual Outing! 🔥

The kids are having a blast today! From face painting and FREE freeze pops to the bounce house, train rides, medallion hunt, turtle races, pedal pull and more—there are smiles everywhere! 😄🎨🚂🐢

Seeing the next generation enjoying the outdoors, making memories, and having fun is what our Outing is all about. ❤️

Thanks to all the families who came out and everyone who helps make Kids Day such a great tradition at Gopher Campfire!

🏅 We Have a Medallion Hunt Winner! 🏅

Congratulations to our 2026 Gopher Campfire Youth Medallion Hunt winner! 🎉

After a little over one hour of searching, she found the hidden medallion and took home a brand-new Red Ryder BB Gun! 🎯

Thanks to all the kids who joined in the hunt this year! It’s always fun watching everyone search high and low—and we’re already looking forward to hiding it again next year! 🔥🌲
