Very short post. We were talking about the book American Gods. He was astounded I had read it. "I'm gonna say something," he said seriously, "and it's big. You'd better a hold of something." Lately it seems like everyone around me is coupling up. Now I'm happy for my friends, but it makes me a little melancholy. I get tired of being alone. Friends are busy with their new love and I am left to my own devices. So I got curious. What were they doing that I wasn't? I have had a good day today. I slept in until 8:30, which is pretty late for me. I take one of the residents to work for 8:00 in the morning on weekdays so I am up around 6:30 which is early for me.
