We had the pleasure of sitting down and talking with Collin about the formation of Elkhorn coffee co and how it creates a positive impacts on getting efforts behind conservation issues. One issue brought up is the boundary waters issue with the government turning over precedent to develop wild areas into industry.

Can’t beat a bitter cold river hunt. A highway for the migratory bird saying screw this I’m out. Brings me back to the days in the blind with my grandpa. Sure did see more mallards back then, dang heated corn ponds

Really thought I couldn’t top 2025. But new years brings new friends but the same love of the outdoors chasing wild birds in wild places. An amazing day with a lot of incredible memories.

Boy what an experience. I’ve been on a couple field with ducks roaming around but never something of this magnitude. I’m usually against pile pics but I can’t help myself with all of that green. If you see me randomly smiling in the summer months it’s probably because I’m day dreaming of this hunt.

Also this was my first out of state waterfowl hunt so I don’t think I will be topping this one so gonna retire on that front 😂

Really had an epic trip to South Dakota this year. Killer dog work this trip. Nala had a perfect rooster flush two yards from me, made the whole trip. First day had a perfect limit went 3 for 3 and snaked a bird from you definitely will hear about it on the podcast. Super blessed with great company can’t wait for another chance to get up there. Thanks to for keeping gas in the tank.

We had a pretty special moment. Last year kept saying if I would only put my speckle belly call on my lanyard and use it we would kill some. Wouldn’t let me forget it all off season. Fast forward to this year put the call on the lanyard and bought some .outdoor Specs. Specs were migrating all morning long with the north wind. Had a lower group moseying along behind us. Gave them a couple giggles and here they come locked up. Got them to turn into the wind and land in the decoys. Pulled up and managed to get 3. You never forgot the first time you call in a new species and this was a special moment. Made it even better that I was able to get an incredible photo of Dakota bring back the Spec.

Wood Duck Paradise! I just dropped off Ava and was heading for the sand hills. Looked over, smashed the brakes and sent Nala flying. Grabbed the camera and started taking photos. Should of done things differently but boy did I love this photo
