We are beyond excited to announce another AMAZING addition to our Superstar Staff! Everyone help us give a huge FAMOUS welcome to the one and only Carlos Richmond ! 🤩
Carlos is a West Virginia native whose cheer and gymnastics journey runs deep. He made history as the first male cheerleader/mascot at Capital High School before continuing his cheer career at Marshall University. He also brings years of experience teaching competitive gymnastics at Maverick Gymnastics.
**full-circle fun fact: Carlos was Coach Brian’s gymnastics coach for years — and he’s the coach who taught Brian his full twist!
Carlos eventually took his talents to North Carolina, where he continued sharing his passion and knowledge with numerous high school and collegiate programs, including NC State All-Girl, UNC All-Girl, ECU All-Girl & Coed. He also spent years coaching tumbling and All-Star Cheer at Inspire Athletics Cheer in Cary, NC — an incredible and highly competitive program.
We take tremendous pride in the culture, environment, and family we’ve built at Famous Superstars, and Carlos brings the experience, knowledge, energy, and passion that fits perfectly with everything we stand for.
