Clayhill 7-19-25. A date the Buckley Racing Family will never forget. As most know we lost our Granny this past Tuesday. We first decided that we were gonna sit it out and spend time with our family this weekend. I knew deep down though that there is no place she would rather us be than at the dirt track. She was one of my biggest supporters on the race track and off. She would text every race night to let me know she was praying for me. Win or lose she was always in my corner. It has been several years since she has got to see me race. I know for a fact she was sitting right beside me Saturday night. Front row seat. In my heart I wanted to win and to do it for her. But I realized as I strapped in the car win or lose we had already won. Eternal life is the biggest victory anyone will ever experience in their life. And with that I know that I will see her again. As we lay her to rest today I find peace in knowing that she isn’t in that casket. She is with the others that have passed on and took faith in Jesus. What a day it will be when Jesus calls us home. I encourage everyone that doesn’t have a relationship with Jesus to please open your heart and let him in. It’s the biggest victory you can achieve. We are blessed to be able to do what we do. We don’t deserve it not one bit. We won this one for you Granny! I will forever cherish the moment! We can’t thank everyone enough for the support through these times!

Hope Everyone enjoyed their 4th of July! We got to see some good fireworks and smash the loud pedal! We traveled out to Tennessee National Raceway for their 3rd Annual 602 Red, White, and Blue 3k race. We started the night off strong qualifying P2 out of 16 cars. Started pole of the 2nd heat and managed to pull off the win. That put us on the outside front row for the 35 lap main event. Started the race and messed around on the top too long and a couple driving errors we fell back and finished 4th. All in all a good night of racing on a one groove race track! Can’t thank everyone enough for all of their support that keeps up pushing forward! We hope to see everyone again soon!

Well, Most have probably wondered where we have been!? A little recap from a month ago we come to Clayhill Motorsports Park and ended up tearing a bunch of stuff up! Lucky for us it was mainly just cosmetic damage and bolt on parts that needed replaced! And with all of the rain we have had we were fortunate enough to only miss one race! We finally got the car put back together and made our way back out to Clayhill for Bubba's Final Lap! We started the night out qualifying 2nd which put us 2nd in the heat where we would capitalize and take the win! Moving on to the feature we started on the pole and led flag to flag to pick up our 2nd win on the year! We can't thank everyone enough that helps this small team push forward and never give up! Shoutout to Jarret Melton for helping us get straightened out and being there to help in any way! Also, to Richie Harris at Reed's Muffler for getting us some tubing and jumping on the car this year! As everyone knows Bo**er Brooks keeps us digging! We are surrounded by great people! Everyone on this car makes it possible for us to do what we love! While also everyone be in prayers for Bubba's family. He will be missed by many!

Made our way out to our local track Clayhill Motorsports Park for their opening night and what a great way to get started. Pill drawed a number that put us starting 5th in heat 2. Managed to make it up to 3rd but just couldn’t advance any further. That rolled us off 6th for the feature. A few laps in we passed for 2nd and started running down the leader. After a couple cautions we managed to hit our marks right and take the lead with about 5 to go. Ending the night with our first feature win of the season! Really enjoyed battling with the youngster Lucas Lowery. He’s gonna be a tough one to beat. Good to see a big car count and All the racing family again! Keep supporting your local race tracks! Big shoutout to All of our sponsors, most of these guys have been with me from the very start! I wanna thank my Dad for all he does for me, without him it would not be possible! Made it out to Clayhill Motorsports Park this past Saturday night for the 4th annual Jace Jones Memorial Event. Started night off a little too tight in qualifying but managed to hold on to 4th. Started 2nd in the first heat and was fast but just couldn’t advance. That put us back to starting 4th in the 25 lap show. We raced hard swapping leaders back and forth but finally found a line and made the pass for the lead on lap 11 and never looked back! What a night and what a team effort! I can’t thank everyone enough that supports us and keeps us going. Bo**er Brooks keeps our car dialed in and is always there when we need to bug him about trying to get faster! Also a big shoutout to 45 race shop for keeping us racers stocked up on parts close to home and Robert Hughes for making sure we have performance reliable engines! We sure are blessed to be able to do what we love and should thank the Good Lord for it every day! Without him nothing is possible! We will be off next weekend but go support your local race track! We appreciate all the fans showing up and being LOUD‼️

We have been behind on our page since we had our recent motor trouble. It put us down for 6 weeks but we are back! Shout out to Robert Hughes for getting us back going! 8/3 we got our motor back around 11a.m. And had it in the car ready to race that night. Had a good run getting everything tuned back in and finished second at Clayhill. 8/17 we traveled back to clayhill and with a bad starting position and some driver errors we took home a 5th place finish. This past Saturday night we decided to make the trip to Tennessee National Raceway for their “Back the Blue” Tommy Hickerson memorial race. We managed to have a good car early and qualify on the pole. We didn’t run a heat and went straight to the feature where we would lead flag to flag! Great night of racing on a great racing surface! We plan to be at Clayhill Motorsports Park this coming weekend and try to keep the ball rolling. I can’t thank everyone enough especially our sponsors and team that have supported us this year. We like to show them off and it sucks we couldn’t do it for 6 weeks but we are back! Everyone come out and support a local race track this weekend!

Little recap over the past couple of weeks! If you looked at the pictures first you should know it’s not the best situation. 6/8 we traveled to North Alabama to find some racing action after we had been rained out for a whole month. Had a lot of speed and ended up qualifying P2. Won my heat race and started P2 for the feature. Had a good run on leader and got a little impatient showing him my nose too soon and he was able to hold us off. A late restart from the wrong lane choice made us fall back one more spot and ended the night 3rd. This past weekend we made it to Clayhill Motorsports Park. Drew a bad pill and started us in the rear of heat 2. Managed to make it to the front and win. Started the feature from P2 and 2 laps in we started losing power. At first we thought electrical but after a compression check we come to realize we were dead on 4&6. Blown head gasket, Burnt Head, and Burnt Block. I guess all good things must come to an end but just for a little while! Motor is in the process of being inspected and fixed! We will be back soon! We can’t thank all of our team and sponsors for having our backs week in and week out!

Planned to run 2 nights this weekend but got rained out Friday night 🫤 Saturday the rain held off and we decided to run at Clayhill Motorsports Park. The track was great! Hats off to them guys there who are working to make that place great again! We drew a 39 which put us starting on the pole of the second heat. Was a little tight but managed to hold on to it. Rolled out P2 in the feature, hit the sticky stuff and pulled out front. Went on to lead every lap! Car was great and cant thank all of the help to get us where we are today! Bo**er brooks keeps us a hot rod and we hope to keep succeeding and getting better! Goods to see all the fans out and enjoying a great night of racing!

04/28/2024

Friday night we went and supported our local track Lexington 104 speedway. Pill drawed a 96 so that put us in the back (5th) in the first heat. We would wind up finishing 3rd in it. That put us starting 5th in the feature. Before making a lap 3rd place pulled off with overheating issues and that advanced us to his spot. We ran 2nd for about 4 laps before a caution. I chose the inside when I should’ve chose the outside on the restart. Raced hard before a little contact which put us in the infield berm and causing us to spin. Managed to make it to 5th and just couldn’t advance any further. Unlucky but that’s racing and we will have to get better! Big shoutout to everyone that come out! Good to see better car counts and more fans in the stands! We will be back Friday night and Saturday next week so come support!
