I got this from the Salvation Army in Huron. I am asking everyone please pick up an angel tree card and donate to a child this year.

Well folks, it's that time of year already.The Angel Tree is up and ready for cards to be picked up. Where is it? It is back at our local Runnings here in Huron! Hours for the tree are 10am-6pm daily, while being closed on Thanksgiving day. So come on out to see us at our Angel Tree and help make a positive difference in the life of a child here in our wonderful community by picking an Angel Tree card, maybe 2 or 3, and help provide them with a wonderful Christmas gift this year and/or a couple of new clothing items.

Thank you for helping us at The Salvation Army make a positive difference in our community.

Due to unprecedented electric load, Corn Belt Power has been asked by Southwest Power Pool, its regional transmission operator, to shed load in its service territory. Members may experience intermittent power outages lasting 45 minutes.

Corn Belt Power urges electric cooperative members to conserve energy to help reduce the demands during this time.

Here's what you can do to help:

▪️Turn your thermostat to 68 degrees.
▪️Cover drafty windows.
▪️Avoid using large appliances like clothes washers, clothes dryers and ovens.
▪️Turn off and unplug non-essential lights and appliances.

We appreciate your help reducing demand for electricity and protecting our power grid.

We will be shooting on Wednesday and Thursday. Only change will be you have to park on the road. All parking spots are underwater

Due to the Amounts of Rain we have received lately, we are not able to shoot or do anything at the present time. A date will be announced when we are able to shoot again. I apologize for this inconvenience. Hope to see you soon, pray for dry weather . Again I apologize.
