DAWG DAZE 2026 update!!

The 26' tournament is moving from it's original date in August to June. The tournament will no longer be hosted by the Huron Parks and Recreation department. The tournament will now be hosted by "Northcoast Tournaments".

Thanks to everyone who has supported us for the past 25 years. I hope you continue to enjoy the next chapter for "Dawg Daze" in 2026 and beyond!

This was the final game played for the 25th Dawg Daze Tournament. The final game hosted by the Huron Parks and Recreation Department before the Tournament moves over to North Coast Tournaments in 2026!

It was a great game. A four run comeback in the final inning! The plate umpire was Pat Hedges. He started umpiring DD the 1st year (2001) with his father. They continued umpiring together every year until his father passed a few years ago. Pat has continued every year since. By complete coincidence, Pat ended up umpiring our final game. Pictured next to Pat is his mother. She came out to watch the final day because she new how much this Tournament meant to Pat and his Dad.

What an amazing ending to 25 years!!!

This was the 25th and Final Dawg Daze Softball Tournament hosted by the Huron Parks and Recreation Department! The Tournament will shift over to North Coast Tournaments (information to follow) next year.

The 2026 Dawg Daze Tournament is June 19-21!

We want to thank you for all the wonderful memories. Thank you to everyone that played a part in this tournament for the past 25 years!!

It has been a wonderful journey!!

The Huron City Council recently approved Resolution 57-2024 ordering placement of a proposed local income tax increase on the ballot for the next General Election to be held on November 5, 2024.
