A NEW STANDARD IN MARTIAL ARTS TRAINING IS COMING TO ASCEND.
When I founded Ascend Taekwondo Center, my vision was never simply to teach children how to kick, punch, or earn belts.
The mission has always been to impact lives.
That mission remains the same—but in 2027, we’re taking it to another level.
We are transitioning Ascend into a specialized Elite Academy focused on developing high-level competitors, accomplished martial artists, and future leaders.
To accomplish that, I am committed to personally investing more time, knowledge, coaching, and attention into every student we accept.
THIS IS NOT AN AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAM.
THIS IS NOT A RECREATIONAL MARTIAL ARTS CLASS.
This is a long-term investment in your child’s development and future.
The Elite Academy is designed for serious students and dedicated families who are willing to commit to the process. Through structured martial arts training and athletic development, students will develop the physical and mental qualities necessary to pursue excellence both on and off the mat.

The athletic foundation developed through our training can benefit your child far beyond Taekwondo—helping develop speed, agility, balance, coordination, reaction, body control, conditioning, and competitive discipline that can translate into virtually any sport.
But our objective goes beyond creating better athletes.

We want our students to become young men and women who know how to work hard, overcome adversity, take responsibility, lead others, and refuse to quit when things become difficult.
That requires the right student.

2027 ELITE ACADEMY ADMISSION
Because of the level of personal attention and specialized coaching provided, membership in the Elite Academy will be limited.
Admission will be based on:
① INITIAL CONSULTATION
Meet personally with us to discuss your child’s goals, strengths, and development needs and receive a complete overview of the Elite Academy.
② ENTRY INTERVIEW
We will determine whether your child and family are a strong fit for the culture, commitment, and expectations of the program.
③ ENROLLMENT DEPOSIT
Accepted families will submit an enrollment deposit to secure their child’s position. The deposit will be applied toward tuition.
④ BEGIN THE JOURNEY
Commit to a structured, long-term development process under the guidance of a Kukkiwon-certified Master Instructor and professional fighter.
