Finishing Strong at Huntsville Speedway!

We made the last minute decision to go racing this weekend at Huntsville Speedway Alabama for the Halloween Boo Bash Dash with the Rocket City Trash Pandas Legend!

Race day went extremely well for us! We were extremely fast in both practice sessions and had a very optimistic outlook for the race! Unfortunately, legends didn’t qualify so the starting order was determined by a pill draw where we drew last starting spot.

6 legends took the green flag with the Rocket City Trash Pandas Legend starting dead last. We would get up to 4th very quickly and after a couple early race cautions, we would grab 3rd on a restart and ran a very strong race to bring home a 3rd place finish running our best lap times of the season!

We’ll build off this very positive momentum and continue to learn and improve as a team! Thank you to the entire team and supporters for all the hard work to continually make us strong!

We now turn our attention and efforts towards getting ready for our first trip to the INEX Legend Car Asphalt Championship Nationals taking place at Dillon Motor Speedway in South Carolina!

Huge thank you to all the fans and everyone that supports us!

Our trip to Highland Rim Speedway was a fiery one!

The Rocket City Trash Pandas Legend made the trip to Highland Rim Speedway this weekend! Last time we visited Highland Rim we came away with the overall win, and we were hoping for that same success this trip.

Unfortunately our day got off to a rough start with a dash electrical fire on lap 1 of practice. We were able to isolate the problem and make repairs in time to make qualifying.

We used qualifying as our practice session and ended up qualifying mid-pack for the Master/Pro race.

After qualifying we kept digging into the electrical issue and made some adjustments to the car to try and get better for the feature.

Since we were the only Pro driver, the track had us race with the Young Lions and Semi-Pros. We started on the pole and struggled the first few laps getting settled in. Once we found our rhythm, we were running solid, consistent lap times and actually picked up 3 tenths from qualifying!

We ended up P6 overall and picked up the Pro Division win!

Definitely HUGE room for improvement at Highland Rim, but we learned a lot this weekend and brought home the division win. Thank you to everyone at Highland Rim for the hospitality!

Huge shoutout to our teammate Dakoda Emerson for another good run and get faster! The improvements are slowly showing! Also huge shoutout to Doug Emerson for helping us go through the wiring and isolate our electrical issues.

Huge thank you to all the fans and everyone that supports us!

We had an amazing time last night supporting the Rocket City Trash Pandas to a HUGE WIN in game 1 of the playoffs! We loved seeing so many fans and supporters stop by and get their picture with the legend car and ask questions!

We may be a little bias but this thing looks amazing under the stadium lights! Huge shootout to Southeast Glossworks for keeping this thing looking sharp!

Back-to-back podiums for the Rocket City Trash Pandas at Huntsville Speedway Alabama!

Coming off a 3rd place finish two weeks ago, we were optimistic we could build on that momentum. During the off week we found some issues with the chassis/frame that needed attention, so we spent the off week going through everything thoroughly and getting it all re-squared.

Race day wasn't without challenges as we struggled with braking issues all day and night but we still had an amazing car. Had a strong qualifying run going until a huge moment off Turn 4, still ended up P3 in qualifying.

It was a caution-free race and we brought home another strong P3 finish! We ran some extremely fast laps most of the race and learned a lot.

We'll build off this positive momentum and continue to learn and grow as a team. Thank you to everyone who helps make this possible!

Huge shoutout to our teammate Dakoda Emerson for another good run! He is slowly making improvements and growing as a driver!

Huge thank you to all the fans and everyone that supports us!
