Brown Bear LLC Canoe and Kayak rentals Canoe and kayak rentals, shuttles, parking and river access on the beautiful Flint River at Wi******er Rd. in Huntsville, Al. (must have ID)

We offer routes from Oscar Patterson -about 3 hours, and Walker Ln. -about 5-6 hours. And will open Ryland Pike and Hwy 72 routes at a later date. Canoes- $70
Tandems-$70
Kayaks- $40
Kids Kayaks- $25
*all rental prices include shuttle and parking

If you have your own equipment, we offer shuttles for either route. we haul you up and you float back to us (Until the southern routes are opened). Shuttles -$15 per person
*we do not charge for a 3rd person in a canoe
*shuttle prices include parking

We also offer parking and/or river access when available, if you want to park and haul your own boats. Parking and River access is priced per vehicle parking and/or loading and/or unloading. Parking -$10 per car/truck or $20 per car/truck+trailer
River access -$10 per car/truck or $20 per car/truck+trailer
*TRESPASSERS WILL NOT BE TOLERATED AND WILL BE PROSECUTED AND/OR TOWED!

*Everyone must check in at the front counter immediately. All military and first responders are greatly appreciated and will receive 10% off for your total purchase!!

IntegraWater had planned to build a wastewater treatment plant near Madison County’s Berry Hill community in New Market. The plant would have been on the Flint River, a waterway used for kayaking, baptisms and other community activities.

The west runs cold and blue for two connected reasons, since much of it is arid with few permanent rivers, and the drainages that do exist were repeatedly scoured or isolated during the ice ages, leaving them a fraction of the species that survived undisturbed in the unglaciated southeast.
