It is with great privilege and great honor that I announce the EDD2L U17 First place team for Fall 2021 is none other than Huntsville Youth Soccer Association Huntsville Texas’ very own FC Eclipse U17 team!!! Whoop whoop!! Shout out to these amazing athletes and soccer players on their success in their first ever EDD2L season! The division was full of incredibly competitive teams and the Eclipse had to work their way through tough battles every step of the way!! They earned their spot in first place 🥇 and represented for Huntsville Texas the whole way through!! Way to go team!
On behalf of the team we’d like to give a special shout out and immense thank you to coaches Jonathan Munoz, Amner Salmeron, David Ortiz, Wes Beaver McMillan, & Emerson Alexis Aviles for their continued support and love for this team and the game of fútbol. Thank y’all for taking the time to help instruct and develop these players, and for taking the time to share your wisdom and knowledge of the great game of soccer. None of this would’ve been possible without yall’s help! Y’all are a the backbone of Competitive Soccer in Huntsville Texas Huntsville is blessed to have y’all be a part of HVYSA.
Also thank you to Jason Dan Moore, Michiel Van De Heijning, Jarsi Ibanez, and David Merrilees for your mentoring, training, wisdom and support of this Eclipse Team. Yalls combined wisdom, time, experience, talent, helped much more than y’all ever know. Thank you all for the many conversations and learning sessions.
