For beginners, it happens in a few places — a few months after you start running, when you're training for a big event (closer to the race date), and a few months into a new training cycle. This often leads to major frustration and depending on how you view it, it can make you or break you.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

HOW TO NAVIGATE FRUSTRATION:⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

❤️ Frustration can be the cause for change - make small adjustments...with your nutrition, sleep cycle, or the time of day you are running.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
❤️ Don’t try to fix/change your running schedule - give your training (schedule, working with a coach) at least 3 months to work its magic and see it through, then reassess how things are going. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

❤️ Know the difference between temporary and long-term frustrations! I love this one. Having a bad day or a bad week? Learn the difference — I often tell my clients to do a gut check here, that bitch knows what’s up!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
