Join us as the Huntley community comes together to mark the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001, and honor the lives lost, the sacrifices made, and the first responders who answered the call.

The remembrance ceremony will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 11, at Huntley Town Square and will include remarks from community leaders, traditional observances, and a moment of silence honoring those lost on September 11, 2001.

We invite our community to join us as we remember and honor those we lost 25 years ago.

In the event of rain, the ceremony will move to Huntley Fire Protection District Station 1, 11118 Main Street.

Strong work by the Swing for Shimmer by raising over $37,000 for the fight against ALS.

💙 $37,916 FOR THE FIGHT AGAINST ALS 💙

It’s hard to put into words what this number means.

When Bryan was diagnosed with ALS at just 45 years old, our entire world changed. We quickly learned that ALS doesn’t just affect the person diagnosed—it changes an entire family’s life. It brings uncertainty, challenges, expenses, and so many moments that no family should ever have to face.

But along the way, we have also learned just how incredible people can be.

Friends. Family. Coworkers. Businesses. Sponsors. Golfers. Volunteers. Donors. And so many people who simply believe that there has to be a better future for families living with ALS.

Every dollar raised through Swing 4 Shimmer represents hope.

These funds will be distributed to organizations working to advance ALS research, provide support services, and help individuals and families affected by this devastating disease.

Our hope is that the money raised today will help another family tomorrow. That it will fund research that leads to better treatments. That it will provide resources when a family feels overwhelmed. And ultimately, that someday another family won't have to hear the words, “You have ALS.”

Bryan's journey is the reason we started Swing 4 Shimmer, but he is not the only reason we keep going.

We do this for every person fighting ALS.
For every family standing beside them.
For those we've lost.
And for the hope that one day, ALS will be a disease of the past.

To everyone who helped make this year's outing such an incredible success—thank you will never be enough. Your generosity, your time, your friendship, and your belief in this mission mean more to our family than you know.

$37,916 raised.
Countless lives touched.
One goal: END ALS. 💙
