The 10th Annual VetFest is a wrap, and what an outstanding event it was! 🇺🇸
From the incredible opening ceremony with Jim Cornelison singing the National Anthem and God Bless America, to great performances by The Blooze Brothers, Bucket Number Six, and LP Vinyl, it was a weekend to remember. (And yes, we surprised Jim with a crowd rendition of Happy Birthday. Did he turn red! 😄)
This event takes a full year to plan, and Chairman Ken Raymer and our staff delivered once again, never anything less than their best. Over 120 volunteers across 3 days made it all happen.
Our Sons of the Legion knocked it out of the park in the kitchen, Huntleys Tacos Locos was a huge hit, and the Auxiliary was invaluable in volunteer coordination and leadership throughout the weekend. Our sponsors' continued partnership makes all of this possible; we are deeply grateful.
We also saw what looked like a record turnout from Veterans' organizations, showing the incredible work they do for our comrades. And to our attendees, thank you. The energy, the compliments, the smiles, it meant everything.
On behalf of Post 673, thank you all. See you next year! ✊
