Lynch's longstanding reputation for personalized instruction and gentle encouragement enables her students to reach his or her maximum potential in an environment ideal for artistic, technical and personal growth. As Artistic Director of Lynch Ballet Company, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, Ms. Lynch provides unique opportunities for young dancers by casting the annual holiday classic The Nutcracker and Spring Ballets exclusively with students. Mastering the challenging classical variations of Sugar Plum Fairy in The Nutcracker, Aurora in Sleeping Beauty(2009), Kitri in Don Quixote (2011) and Swanhilda in Copellia (2012) offers senior Lynch Ballet Company dancers the highest level of experience and accomplishment for the pre-professional ballet student.

Join us on Wednesday, September 2 from 4:00-7:00 for in house registration for the 2026-2027 school year.

All dancers must be registered before the first day of classes (September 8) in order to take class in their assigned level. For more information regarding class schedules, tuition and dress code please visit our website at www.lynchballet.com.

Congratulations to Lynch School of Ballet dancer Arie Gingeras who received a Long Island Scholar-Artist Award of Merit in the category of Dance!

Arie first joined the Lynch School of Ballet in Pre-Ballet and is currently a member of Ballet VI. As a member of Lynch Ballet Company, she has performed in THE NUTCRACKER, CINDERELLA, DON QUIXOTE, COPPÉLIA and THE SLEEPING BEAUTY. Most recently, she performed the soloist roles of a Stepsister in CINDERELLA and the Trepak Soloist in THE NUTCRACKER.

The goal of the Scholar-Artist program is to honor exceptionally accomplished high school seniors. Selections are made from a pool of students nominated by Long Island’s public school districts, and from independent and parochial schools. From these nominees, twenty students selected to receive Awards of Distinction and an additional twenty students are selected to receive an Award of Merit. Thank you to the Long Island Arts Alliance for providing this wonderful honor and congratulations to Arie 🌟🩰🌟

Congratulations to Lynch School of Ballet dancer Chloe Donovan who was just named a 2026-2027 Long Island Scholar-Artist in the category of Dance!

Chloe joined the Lynch School of Ballet at the age of six and performed in her first Nutcracker as a Little Angel. She went on to perform many roles in Lynch Ballet Company productions including the soloist roles of Snow Queen and Dew Drop in The Nutcracker, the Fairy Godmother in Cinderella, the Dawn Soloist in Coppélia, and Cupid in Don Quixote.

The goal of the Scholar-Artist program is to honor exceptionally accomplished high school seniors from September to June. Selections are made from a pool of Long Island high school seniors. From these nominees, one monthly award winner from Nassau and one from Suffolk is chosen. Thank you to the Long Island Arts Alliance for providing this wonderful honor and congratulations to Chloe!
