WV Dusters 8U finished their summer season strong this weekend. The kiddos placed TOP 4 out of 24 teams in the MKP World Series, going 4-2-1. They battled in the platinum bracket today and made some noise. We are so proud of them.

Our pitchers did amazing all weekend and our defense was strong but had typical 7&8 yr old errors. Yes, we are league age 7&8 yrs old but with their softball IQ, you’d never know it! These kiddos were getting the bat on the ball with kids hitting almost 50mph and we’ve only played coach pitch all year.

This group is so special and I hope they always know it. From Fall 2023- now they had a record of 69-13-2. Collecting 10 championships, 4 runner up and never finishing lower than 3rd place.

As they all move on to new adventures next season, we wish them all the best of luck and hope they stay lovers of the game.

Dusters 8U are headed into the PLATINUM bracket tomorrow! The girls earned the #2 seed in our pool with a record of 2-1-1. They played and fought hard their last pool play game.

Game 4 MVP chosen by Wizards, went to Sadie Cannoy for her diving foul ball catch! 🤩

Addi Black hit the game tying RBI single that was huge for our seeding tomorrow. 💪🏼

Scarlett Marcum, Lydia Brammer, Jaycee Webb, Kearney Barber and Sadie Cannoy were awarded with bracelets today from the umpires for big hits or defensive plays! 🥎

Dusters took a tough loss in game 3 to a very talented and experienced team but didn’t roll over! Bats started coming around second time through the lineup.

Game 3 MVP went to Miss Sadie Cannoy. Sadie came in to relieve at pitcher and shut it down the rest of the game!
