🚨 PARENTS PLEASE DO YOUR HOMEWORK! 🚨🏀
Not every “AAU program” is built the same.
Before you invest your money, time, and trust into a basketball program, make sure you understand what circuit they’re on, who they play, and what exposure they truly provide.
There are different levels:
✅ Shoe Circuits (Top Tier Exposure)
✅ Tier 2 Circuits (Strong Competition/Scouting)
✅ Independent Circuits (Still valuable depending on the program)
But remember…
A fancy jersey and Instagram highlights don’t equal development or exposure.
Ask questions like:
📌 What tournaments are you attending?
📌 Who are you playing against?
📌 Who is coaching my child?
📌 What is the track record of player development?
📌 Do players actually get recruited?
📌 Is this program about winning or building players?
Parents, protect your investment.
Your child’s future is bigger than hype.

Ramadan can be challenging for athletes because fasting during the day can affect performance. However, with proper planning, athletes can still participate in sports and exercise while fasting.
Planning
Hydrate: Drink enough water and electrolytes after sunset
Eat well: Eat healthy foods like fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and lean proteins after sunset
Rest: Take breaks and rest more to recover
Adjust training: Adjust the timing and intensity of training
Communicate: Let your coach know you're fasting
Performance
Listen to your body: Don't overdo it and ask for breaks when needed
Monitor: Individualized monitoring can help prevent fatigue and illness
Consider medical conditions: If you have a medical condition, consult a healthcare professional before fasting
Other considerations
Athletes may need to adjust to late night prayers and fatigue
Athletes may need to adjust to training in different environments
Event organizers should consider the needs of Muslim athletes when scheduling competitions
Ramadan is a holy month of self-reflection and sacrifice for Muslims.

We have five games remaining, and we are seeking unsigned seniors who are dedicated to enhancing their basketball skills and maintaining peak physical condition for college. Games are held on Wednesdays or Thursdays, with boxing training on Fridays. Limited slots available.
