Anthony Noy on one of his famous Bay Of LA trips today. He got a chance to play with one of the new UC "Sidewinder" popper rods. The Jack Crevelle came out in full force to test the tackle in full. Twitch Baits and poppers were the presentation of choice. Also the search was on for the bigger brother roosterfish AKA " Mohawk Jack" but they were very elusive on this day. To quote Anthony " You can really feel the sidewinder rod working for you, sweeps on the rod worked the popper with ease These rods are amazing" Im guessing the fishing being amazing helped! :)

So this is the last entry in the United Composites 2026 Yellowtail Challenge. The power went out last night so i couldent post it. Bill Fogarty will take 15th place with this #16.49 the fish was caught 8-31-26 on the Native Sun at Horshoe Kelp he was using a custom GP900-Reaper. Congrats bill Standings are updated and this contest is now closed. Official Standings will be posted soon along with the sceduled time and location for the awards event Stay Tuned!

So we have a late entry Sylvester Fuentes will take over 12th place In our UC 2026 Yellowtail Challenge with just under 3 hours till closing. This fish is #19.84 Verified It was caught today on the Native Sun SportFishing at Horshoe Kelp The Rod is an RGP900-Reaper a very rare one i might add. Standings have been updated!

Its the bottom of the 9th some of the crew headed out on the Native Sun to take one last swing at the UC 2026 Yellowtail challenge. This contest ends tonight at midnight so make sure you all got your fish entered as we will not accept any more entries after midnight tonight. Good luck guys i hope you finish strong :)
