I am so proud of you, Marlee Jade.
I think I’ve watched this video 100 times and I’ve cried every time. I’m just so very proud of you! You showed so much growth this weekend not only on the mat but in your mental toughness, self respect, and your willingness to go to deep waters to make your dreams come true.

Trying to help you build from far away is one of the hardest assignments I’ve ever had to figure out as a coach and a dad. It’s hard to rest when huge chunks of your heart are planted and being watered elsewhere by other hands.

I am eternally grateful to all the wonderful people that God has brought alongside you to keep you inspired and on task. From the bottom of my heart, Thank you to Jim Akerly (Quest School of Wrestling), the Canon-Mac Wrestling wrestling family, Coach Tyler Nauman, Lee Dreshman, South Hills Wrestling Academy, and many others. We are all so grateful for every piece of wisdom and positive energy that you have invested into Marlee. It means the world to us.

No words can describe how proud I am of Marlee ;) she had an amazing week at Women’s Nationals competing at U20 taking 2nd place to an amazing World Champion Everest Leydecker . Making the U20 PANAM team !! To end the weekend making the U17 Olympic World Team !!! Just speechless also thank you Jacob Harman with Team Thunder Wrestling for helping coach Marlee through her wins !
