Congratulations to the NHB Boys U13 Black Soccer Team, recognized at the Mayor's Spotlight Awards for an outstanding 2026 spring season and for representing Huntington Beach with excellence both on and off the field!
Competing against the top Flight 1 teams in Orange County, the team finished the SoCal Spring League season with an impressive 7-0-1 undefeated record, scoring 22 goals while allowing just six. Their incredible season also included winning the Copa Del Mar Winter Classic and earning Finalist honors at the 2026 Aliso Cup.
Under the leadership of Coach Chris Volk, this talented group has shown that success comes from hard work, perseverance, discipline, and teamwork. Their commitment to sportsmanship, selfless play, and supporting one another has created a culture of trust and respect that extends far beyond the soccer field. Congrats to Andrei, Jack, Cody, Maxon, Troy, Luke, Eli, Cater, Matthew, Zaid, Tristan, Nolan, Ben, Taizo, John, and Anthony!
