Teaching 101 by Rafael Cordeiro.

1. Know Your Purpose
Every part of class should connect back to the technique. From warm-up to drilling to live rounds, everything needs intention and purpose.

2. Understand Your Audience
Every class is different because every student is different. Structure your coaching based on who’s in front of you — beginner, intermediate, or advanced.

3. Teach With Intention
People came to learn, not listen to a long speech. Explain the technique clearly, keep the class engaged, and make corrections while they’re working. Too much talking loses the room. Say what matters and cut the fluff.

Great coaching isn’t about saying more. It’s about helping people understand more.
