The Spare Air is the ORIGINAL mini scuba system. Developed by a scuba diver and inventor over 40 years ago when he himself experienced an out of air emergency while diving. He decided that no diver should ever have to go through his near-death experience and when to work on inventing a solution. Spare Air was born and quickly became the Diver’s Reserve Parachute. Soon after pilots discovered Spare Air and started carrying it on helicopters in case of a water crash, kayakers and surfers discovered how useful Spare Air can be in a short term situation where you are held underwater by waves or rushing water, and industrial companies discovered Spare Air can give their employees an extra layer of protection in case of a fire or chemical spill. Lots of copies have come and gone over the years, but we are proud to be the ORIGINAL and still made in the USA! We are a real manufacturing company who will pick up the phone when you call. 'I think Spare Air is ingenious little device that can save my life. I have been always worrying what will happen if I run out of air while I am scuba diving. I am new diver and I am terrified of thought that I have to find my buddy's octopus when things go wrong.
