Please join us in welcoming Alberto Arancón to the OC Racquet Sports team!

Originally from Spain, Alberto is a competitive tennis player and coach who brings international playing experience and a passion for teaching to our courts. He has competed in Spanish National Championships and international tournaments across Europe and North Africa, earning ITF Junior ranking points and competing in ITF M15 qualifying events.

Alberto has trained at respected high-performance academies in Spain, including Sánchez-Casal and BTT Tennis Academy. His background has given him valuable experience that he looks forward to sharing with our tennis community.

Alberto enjoys working with players of different ages and skill levels, from beginners learning the fundamentals to experienced players looking to sharpen their game. His coaching focuses on improving technique, building confidence, and creating a fun, positive, and encouraging learning environment.

Alberto will be teaching tennis classes and is also available for private and semi-private lessons. Whether you’re picking up a racquet for the first time or looking for more personalized instruction, he’s excited to help you reach your goals and enjoy the game.

I am thrilled to announce the newest addition to our coaching team, Certified Pickleball Professional Mike Patton!

As many of you know, our mission at OC Racquet Sports has always been to bring the very best coaching, instruction, and player development opportunities to our community. With that in mind, I couldn’t be more excited to welcome Mike to our pickleball family.

Mike brings an impressive background with more than 10 years of experience in professional sports, athlete development, talent scouting, team management, and high-performance coaching. Throughout his career, he has worked with athletes at various levels, helping them maximize their potential through advanced skill development, strategic coaching, competitive preparation, and performance training.

What makes Mike especially valuable is his ability to break down the game, develop players of all skill levels, and create a positive learning environment that helps players improve while having fun. Whether you’re a beginner looking to build confidence or an experienced player looking for a competitive edge, Mike has the knowledge and experience to help elevate your game.

Many of you will also recognize Mike from his work alongside one of OC Racquet Sports’ most beloved professionals, Donna “D.I.” Irwin. Together, they have shared a passion for teaching and growing the game, and we are excited to continue that tradition with Mike joining our coaching staff.

This is a major addition to our pickleball program and another step forward as we continue to build one of the strongest pickleball communities in Southern California.
