🎉 Congratulations to CSHL's SARAH CUOZZO!!!

Recently, Sarah was selected to compete internationally in ball hockey for the Women's USA Legends team. This incredible opportunity will take her to Czechia this summer, where she will represent both our local league and the USA Legends team. Sarah's commitment to improving her game and ensuring everyone around her has fun is what makes her such a special part of our community.

We are raising funds to help offset the cost of Sarah's travel so she can make the most of this once-in-a-lifetime experience. Congrats to Prestige Worldwide for winning the B Division in this weekends 3v3 Ball Hockey in Apex, NC on their new outdoor rinks! This tournament was a fundraiser for Colleen Murphy, Katherine Murphy, and Bailey Horne who are competing in the 2026 World Championships in Ostrava, Czechia for Team USA later this summer.

Prestige Worldwide went on a undefeated run winning all 5 of their games by a combined 12-1 scoring margin. Special congrats to captain Jayden Steckler and MVP Cole Heslin 🏆

🚨 REGISTER NOW - Announcing our second annual Red, White & Blue Adult Ball Hockey Tournament, this time for a fun cause!

🗽 Our very own James Forbes has been selected to the Team USA Legends (45+) team to compete at this year's World Championships in Černošice, Czechia, from July 28 to August 1!!!

🕘 Date & Time - Sunday, July 5th at 9:30AM (Draft at 9AM, arrive no later than 8:45AM)
🥅 Format - 4v4 with a schoolyard draft to decide teams
📍 Waymer Park, Huntersville
💸 $25 per player

💰 All proceeds will go towards Forbes' Team USA fees & travel accommodations.
- We will also have a 50/50 raffle and have the opportunity to purchase Forbes Team USA jerseys!!!

CSHL is looking for a new Board Secretary!

Our current Board Secretary, Mike LaFond, organizes everything regarding our bi-weekly executive board meetings including (but not limited to) preparing agendas, recording minutes, and sending all CSHL-related correspondence to board members.

This position is a GREAT way to see how CSHL operates behind the scenes. LaFond is also moving back north, so we are looking to fill this position ASAP!!!

Please welcome CSHL's newest Executive Board Member and our new Youth League Commissioner, Amy Toliver!

Amy is excited to help other families find their way to the rink. She is looking forward to growing the youth program and creating more opportunities for kids to fall in love with the game—no ice required.

Amy's first youth league initiative are FREE Youth Pickups every Saturday Morning at Waymer Park, starting this Saturday, May 16th!

CSHL's co-ed Summer Rec League is a mix between players in our A & B Divisions.

📅 Dates

Start: May 16th
Playoffs: July 11th
Weather Makeup: July 25th

All Dates: 5/16, 5/23, 6/6, 6/13, 6/20, 6/27, 6/11 (potential 6/25)

🏒 Games

Location: Waymer Park
Day: Saturdays
Time: 11AM - 1PM is the most likely time slot for games

$50 for 6 regular season games + playoffs

🗣 I'M AN ISLAND BOYYYY 🏝

Congrats to the CSHL-based Island Boys, Novice Champions for the Frost Family Hockey 2025 Fall Shootout 🏆

Brayden Harriman was named MVP as he had four shutouts in five games on the day.

The FFH Fall Shootout is a 3v3 tourney held each year in Greensboro. We hope to see more CSHL teams in 2026! Thanks Kevin & Elizabeth for hosting another great tournament!
