Today we walked out of our Huntersville home for the last time.
Where so many of you have picked up orders of elderberry syrup from my little red cooler.
When I began making elderberry syrup for my family, I never imagined it would grow into what it has. Sharing a simple post on Facebook about my new “hobby” quickly turned into “what do I need to do to make this a legit business before I get in trouble”. 😂
There is so much that goes on behind the scenes of owning a small business. Late nights crunching numbers after my kids go to sleep. Early mornings sending emails before they wake up. Securing a commercial kitchen. Finding a babysitter so I can work in said kitchen. Paying taxes. Staying true to my commitment of using the very best organic ingredients. Continuing to educate myself on the benefits of elderberry and other herbs and how to best extract them. It’s a lot of work.
But this little business… it has allowed me the flexibility to spend the majority of my time with my children, and I couldn’t be more grateful for that. ❤️
So while Huntersville Porch Pickups are no longer an option, Little Loves Organics is still trekking on!
So how can you get my elderberry syrup in LKN? There’s a few options for you.
👩🍳🍪 Atelierdouxclt is a home based bakery in the Northlake area, very close to Target. Paras is amazing to work with, and you can do porch pickups from her home, or at any of the many markets she participates in if you order ahead!
📬📦 I can ship it straight to your door! My website is still open for business, and I ship FREE for all orders over $75.
👀😉 I’m finalizing another location in LKN that will be carrying it when their new storefront opens (hopefully) next month!
