There will be a New World Screwworm Producer Update on Monday, July 6, at 6:00 p.m. at the Harper Park Community Center.
This free program is open to the public and will feature presentations from Texas A&M AgriLife Extension, Texas Parks & Wildlife, Gillespie Livestock Auction, and Dr. Pat O'Neal of Pedernales Veterinary Clinic. Topics will include recognizing screwworm symptoms, treatment options, proactive herd management practices, animal movement in and outside of the infestation zone, and current livestock market updates. Attendees will also have the opportunity to ask questions during a speaker panel.
