3rd -> 1st in the heat🏁

6th -> 1st in the feature!🏁

This was the first time we've been back to Dog Hollow in around two years. We had great speed right out the gate picking up the heat win from third. Started 6th in the feature since we can't redraw to save our lives. After a late race red, we restarted 3rd for a green, white, checker finish. Jake had an awesome restart and was able to pass for the lead coming to the white flag clenching our 2nd win of the season! The guys are getting everything washed and ready to hit the track today weather permitting!

Results from Hunt County Raceway:👇🏼

36 cars on hand

3rd -> 2nd in the heat race

7th -> 12th in the feature

Jake got caught up in an accident in the first corner on the first lap. Luckily, he was able to make it through without stopping but it caused extensive damage to the steering. The next 19 laps were a struggle to keep the car where it needed to be without causing more damage to our car or someone else's. Thankfully, Jake was able to finish the race only falling back a few positions. The car was fast for the feature, it's unfortunate we didn't get to see it's true potential.

The guys got the car fixed up and in the box to head back to PA after a fun but rainy May in TX!

We have arrived at Hunt County Raceway for what originally would've been race 3 of Texas Racesaver Speedweek. But, due to weather, we've lost the first two nights. This is the track we struggled with the most last year, so we're hoping to put up some better results tonight!🤞🏼🏁

We're grateful to secure our first win of the season. It's always special to win, but it's truly so cool when Jake and I can pick up a win when it's just the two of us! We're hoping to keep this momentum rolling as we head to Texas Thursday, to kick off our TX swing over the month of May!

4th fastest in hot laps
6th -> 2nd in the heat
4th -> 3rd in the feature to clench our first podium finish of the season!

Overall, a pretty successful weekend. The 4j will be off next weekend as we head to Texas to pilot the 42c owned by Lance Christie at Abilene Speedway.

The 4j will be back in action at Clinton County Speedway on April, 24th!
