Come out and learn some basics of cheer!

Jr. Rangers will have a table set up for girls who fall in love with the sport and want to join us in the upcoming season 🎉

The Northwest Cheerleaders are excited to host our annual Cheer Clinic for athletes in Pre-K through 6th grade! Participants will spend the day learning a cheer, dance, and basic stunts, along with playing games and having fun with our high school team. Each athlete will also receive a clinic t-shirt and lunch will be provided (or they may bring their own).

Cost:
$45 for the first child and $20 for each additional child from the same family.

Please note: The sibling discount applies only to children within the same household. T-shirts and lunch are guaranteed for pre-registered athletes only!

Registration & Payment:
•Registration is at 9:30; Showcase is at 1:30
•Pre-registration: Check or Venmo (-Boosters)
•Families paying by check will receive an email with mailing details after submitting the form
•T-shirts and lunch are guaranteed for pre-registered athletes only

Additional Information:
•Open to athletes from all schools
•Participants outside of the Northwest Area School District must complete a waiver on the day of the clinic
•Please bring water/drinks and any additional snacks if desired

🏈 Addresses for football games and Comp information for this year!

B & C team will be doing
- 9/12 Jr. Spartans comp ❤️
- 9/26 NW comp 💙
- 10/10 GWA (league comp) / 10/24 rain date 💚

D team cheer will be doing NW comp & GWA (league comp)

Who's excited for another great season here with Jr. Rangers!?! 🙋‍♀️

We know there has been some questions about communication with parents and how that will operate this year. We would like to have most of our rosters up to date by the end of the month (registration will remain open). Once we have roasters/teams put together coaches will reach out via playmetrics app. Same app that we are using for sign ups! We will be posting good resources and information directly in the app for all parents to access. We look forward to making things as easy as possible this year.

Cheer non mandatory practices will start in June!

We are working on a TON of amazing things for the upcoming football and cheer season-

-Putting together a full blown cheer comp hosted at NW High-school

-Updates to coach and safety training, including a training day at Wilkes University for football coaches!

-Online registration for your convenience (1st time players PM for promo code for FREE registration! We know life is expensive, but trying out football or cheer doesn't need to be!)

-Looking at opportunities to increase outreach and registration numbers (if you have ideas, let us know!)

-Reviewing options for coaches to have cell service at the Hunlocks practice fields

- Concession stand open at the practice field with menu options like burgers, hot dogs, fries, drinks and snacks- because let's be real, we're all having dinner at either 4pm or 10pm during sports season 🤣

We're looking for families that plan to sign up this year but haven't had time to yet.

👉 We know Little League season just started and a lot of families are committed to that right now. We are just looking to plan ahead. 📅

Jr. Ranger cheer is looking forward to getting all levels together this year for lots of fun team building activities. In order to accomplish this we are sending out our wishlist for supplies! Any donation helps and means so much to our youth cheerleaders and coaches. Help these girls have a stellar season and make sure NW is well prepared to go for those spirit awards 🏆
