Golf Club of Houston offers two championship golf courses (18 private, 18 public) located in Humble, TX. The Tournament Course at Golf Club of Houston, a daily fee course that opened in 2006, is a stunning Rees Jones/David Toms creation with an abundance of native plants and wildlife that offers a sense of serenity and solitude. lfers at all levels. The private Member Course is a Peter Jacobsen/Jim Hardy masterpiece also offering unique challenges in a magnificent setting. Together, along with a state-of-the-art practice facility, short-game area, and luxurious clubhouse, GCOH Members and guests enjoy a pure golf experience. The Shell Houston Open was first held on the Member Course from 2003-2005 and since then was played on the Tournament Course (2006 to the 2019.) Past champions include Fred Couples, Vijay Singh (two-time winner), Stuart Appleby, Adam Scott, Johnson Wagner, Paul Casey, Anthony Kim and Phil Mickelson.
