The Humansville Booster Club built the original Humansville Speedway in the late 1940's and it was in operation until 1974. There was approximately twelve to fourteen members that helped in the construction and the operation of the track. Some of the members that I know include My Grandfather Harry Butcher, Sonny Derringer and Roy Pangborn. Just to name a few. So here's a history lesson for those who doesn't know. Thank You!
