Was planning on racing this jaloppy this weekend in Goodland Kansas, but unfortunately after we raced at Stockton and tore up a bunch of stuff I have had no time nor desire to even tear the car apart and get it ready. It’s been a good few races this year, but it’s just been an off year for me personally. My head hasn’t been in it at all, work has taken a lot of my time up recently.

Gonna take the weekend off, regroup, and relax after a long week. Hoping to be back on track soon, still can’t thank everyone for all the support! Good luck to my brother Nick Link this weekend and to all the other racers!

Race Recap from Rooks County Speedway

Heat race: 8th-DNF
Feature: 18th-10th

What a night it was. I don’t even know where to begin. Started the night off being delayed due to rain. Finally got to race and learn a new track.

Junked it in the heat race, cars spun out in front of me and I was committed and had nowhere to go. Tried getting on the brakes, didn’t have enough time to slow down. Thankful it was mostly body damage, but it the radiator and fan.

Feature I started in the back road around the first couple laps to make sure the car was okay, car felt fine so I sent it. Missed a couple wrecks and ended up 10th! Nothing to complain about, was a very wild night that’s for sure.

Very thankful for the parts from the Getaway Motorsports team, I wouldn’t have ran without them giving me parts last night! Huge thank you to them for all the help and a spot to park!

Huge thank you to the Yakish family for coming and helping get the ol junker back together for the feature, after the heat I was done and was just gonna load it up. They got it fixed and encouraged me to keep going.

If you don’t got a Victory Seats get one. Chris Ferguson and his crew kept me safe last night and that’s a big deal!

Very thankful I get to do this, I truly appreciate all the support from everyone!

There is a Car following us to Rooks County Speedway in Stockton Kansas. First time racing in Kansas since last year! Hope to see some familiar faces 🤘🏼

Results from Route 66 Motor Speedway

Heat: 2nd-3rd
A Feature: 3rd-4th

Overall a great weekend of racing! Tried some new changes on the car and definitely was a success, even though the results show going backwards.

With 5 to go in the feature I overdrove 3 and spun it off the top and restarted 10th and went to 4th. There was a wreck coming out of 4 to the checkers, thankfully we missed it and gained a few positions from it!

Thankful for everyone that helped get the car ready!

Was planning on racing in Kansas this weekend but Colby canceled and Goodland is up in the air. I’m also currently headed to storm for work so unfortunately I wouldn’t have been able to either way! Everyone have a great weekend!

RACE RECAP: 5/2/26 @ Route 66 Motor Speedway

Heat Race- 2nd-7th
Car was terrible in the heat, couldn’t turn at all and ended up looping it in-front of the field. Track had some character.

Feature- 13th-15th(DNF)
Called up the Crew Chief and he suggested a few changes and we made those changes! Only made a few laps, but the laps I did make the car felt 100x better and felt dang fast! We had a restart and was 3 wide going down the front stretch and the car outside me just lost it and drove straight into my door sending me into the car below me, causing a LR flat which ended our night.

Not complaining, very thankful for finally being able to get to finally race! Thankful for all the help from my dad and my girlfriend this last week and thankful for the people who support me!
