Intro to Kayaking: Through white bear lake community services & Recreation

Dates:July 1-2, Aug 12-13
Grades 1-4 (9am-10am)
Grades 5-8 (10:30-11:30am)
Grades 9-12 (12-1pm)

• How to Launch Your Kayak
• How to Hold your Paddle
• Basic Kayaking strokes: These include turning, stopping, and edging the kayak
• Common Hazards and how to avoid them
