Fishing at the lake is still not good. The few who have fished including my husband haven’t caught anything to speak of. We did not get a rise this year and doesn’t look like we will -so far. Word is crickets are hard to find on the WEEKEND but we have them. We are open on Saturday and Sunday come get you some. 🦗🦗🦗🦗

Wanted to let everyone know Arkansas Game and Fish came out in October and spent all day, did a live shock and the results weren’t good. They didn’t find many game fish. They said that due to the past two summers being so hot and the lake getting so low that it messed up the eco system within. They also said it will correct itself but we will need a good rise to do it. That being said the few fishermen we have had haven’t caught anything. My husband has also fished a few times checking things out and has not caught anything. Also wanted to let you know due to us having some questionable people prowling around if I am not home the gate will be locked but you can access the lake from Fowler’s. We will have it open on the weekends but I do not have any bait but so do still have tackle if you need anything.

No fish biting but if you’re in the area I have fresh eggs $4.00 dozen along with fresh homemade sweet pickles -spicy dill spears /hamburger chips - bread & butter - sweet heat hotdog relish - chow chow for your peas or hot dogs and sweet pickle relish for your tuna fish or potato salad $7.00 a pint. There are Bream being caught, there are 8 keepers and a Crappie in this basket. You gotta throw the LITTLE ones back , and FEMALES with eggs please, if you keep everything there will be nothing left. All I know is they are in deep water about 3 foot.
