Can everyone help us wish Larry Wood a very happy 77th birthday!!!🎉⛳️

Larry has called Lansing, Dorr and Hudsonville home throughout his life. He is devoted husband to his is married to his beautiful wife Kim Wood, a proud father of 3, grandfather of 5, and great grandfather of 8. He also has a sister.

After pursuing work in construction and sales, Larry retired in 2012. His favorite hole here at Gleneagle is hole 4 and he continues to impress with rounds in the 65-72 range.

When asked for a piece of advice, Larry kept it simple: follow through. If you know Larry you also know he's a fan of the classic movie Caddyshack.

Please join us in wishing Larry a fantastic birthday filled with smiles and maybe a few birdies along the way!!🎂🎈🏌️🎁🎊

Thank you everyone who came out to play our Memorial Scramble. Some long time members met some new faces, and a fun day was had by all.

Memorial Day Scramble

Americans began to recognize Memorial Day in 1868, and the country established it as a federal holiday in 1971
Originally known as “Decoration Day”, the holiday started with communities coming together to decorate the graves of those who died during service.
Memorial Day honors the sacrifice and loss of those who served and died in the military. It is a reminder of the brave men and women who served our country and gave their lives for our freedom. It is not just a day off, it is a time to think about why we remember these heroes, a chance to honor those who are no longer here.

We are adding a twist to the 4 person scramble. Sign up as couples. We will be drawing cards to pair up as foursomes. What a fun way to get to know other members and guests.
Sign up sheets will be in the Pro Shop. Call or stop and sign up to get in on the fun.
Friday May 22 will be the cut off and all entry fees are due

9:00 am modified on Monday May 25th, 2026
All teams will compete against each other.
Men play from the Green
Ladies play from the Yellows
$10 per person for member’s entry fee
$56 per person for non members
($40 per team will go to payouts )

In honor of Memorial Day dates, above in bold we will payout the following:
#1 - Fewest putts
#9 - Longest Drive
#18 - Closest to in 2
Lowest Team Score

CALLING ALL COUPLES
We are starting a Friday Night Couples Group. Grab your best "spouse or friend" and come out for a fun night of golfing and socializing. It will be a very relaxed setting. Only 2 items need to be met:
1. Call the pro shop between Monday and Wednesday before you want to play for the upcoming Friday to sign up
2. Show up and have fun

We will have spots starting at 5:00
As the season progresses we hope to have one of the "Couples" take over and plan certain challenge holes and little social events for you after play
But in the mean time, sign up, play golf, and have a beverage or two after with the other couples. $33 per person

All leagues will have a week added to the end of their season.
