Wrapped up the season with the 2010/2011 team with our end of season scrimmage where the squad takes on whatever family and friends or up for the challenge. Fenix boys did work. Thank you for a fun season Fenix family!!!

Post #2 on the day, we took one older team to the West Michigan futsal cup this weekend with players ranging from 2007 to 2010 birth years and they GOT THE JOB DONE! 3-0 on the weekend winning the ‘ship! Well done boys!!!! Check the vid!

FIRST post of the last game day of the season, our 2010-11 team are some of the hardest working players ever. Futsal is TOUGH, unforgiving, physical, fast, and gets even tougher, these guys are learning the game and the life lessons that comes with it. Appreciate you guys for showing up to hustle every day. The results didn’t show how hard you guys worked but they will you keep grinding. Thank you for never giving up boys!

Dope to see the growth at Las Canchas! Even more dope is the picture used which has two Fenix futsal players playing there on opening weekend a couple years back!

Downtown Grand Rapids Inc. will install turf over the asphalt courts to encourage more use, especially among those concerned about injuries from playing on hard surfaces.

This is us! Fenix Family, there was fun futsal played by Fenix Roza and Black as they faced off against each other in the School of Futsal showcase last Saturday. Roza got the W which propelled them to the final (which they won as well) Both teams were lights out though!! Proud to share this experience with you all!!

Roza squad came to play today avenging their only loss on the weekend with a commanding 10-2 win in the final! Congratulations Campeones! Black squad fell short of the final by the 4th tiebreaker after an outstanding weekend as well. Our 2010/11 team played some hard fought futsal this weekend, showing development which doesn’t always show up on the scoreboard. Proud of all Fenix players!! Trophy goes home with who was a beast in goal through many hard shooting matches! Players of the final were the Heyboer brothers .heyboer and accounting for 7 of the 10 goals and some BIG defensive plays!!

Fenix showdown tonight as Black (2-0) takes on Roza (1-1). Should be a fun matchup as Roza fights for a spot in tomorrow’s final against Black. Let’s have some fun!!
