Hudsonville Bass Fishing Team Hudsonville Bass Fishing Team is a club at Hudsonville High School available to high school students interested in the sport of bass fishing.

In the club we teach about bass fishing while preparing to fish in tournaments.

Tournament #3 in the SPI Circuit on the Grand River was the final stop this past Saturday.
Sticking with the theme for the year it was another cold morning. The team was led this week byJax Kooiker and Dean Freed who put together a good bag of 12.3 lbs leading them to an 8thplace finish overall. Two more teams landed in the top 30 in the field of 100 boats, Silas Timmerand Parker Wondergem (22nd with 10.67 lbs) and Grant Landheer and Wyatt Heslinga (29th with 9.72 lbs). In the afternoon session two Hudsonville teams managed to land in the top ten. Hunter Heslinga and Ethan Miller were 6th with 8.65 lbs and Trenton and Bradley Souser were 9th with 4.55 lbs. Thankful for all of our sponsors, boat captains, tournament directors, volunteers, and competitors that make for a fun tournament season.

Memorial weekend fun was had for the team of Silas Timmer and Charlie Engstrom who took home a 1st place finish on day 2 of the Michigan Bass Nation stop #1 on Muskegon Lake. They weighed in 19.68 lbs with a 6.09 lb kicker.
