Huge congratulations to Coach Ty Jaenicke on being named Division II Coach of the Year.
What an incredible accomplishment — and even more impressive knowing this was his first year as a high school head coach. From day one, Coach Ty brought leadership, passion, and a relentless belief in this group of boys. He set the tone for what Cal Hockey is all about: hard work, accountability, and playing for something bigger than yourself.
We are so proud of the way he led this team all season long and the culture he continues to build within the program. Cal Hockey is lucky to have him behind the bench, and we’re incredibly grateful he’s here.
The future of this program is bright, and we can’t wait to see what the coming years hold under his leadership.
