MY GIRLS!!

- It is so important to me to build a relationship with my girls because that’s the best way to teach!!
- I have found that getting to know each girl personally, has given me a better understanding of coaching them to THEIR needs and not mine.

Guess who’s back!!!

It is about summer time, so that means lessons are back in business! I am super excited to return home for the summer and to help young girls strive to get better and love the game!

Hey everyone! I have some exciting news!

My goal has always been to be a NCAA college coach and that dream has became true! I will be taking an assistant coaching job in Banner Elk at Lees McRae!

Unfortunately I will no longer be doing lesson in Morganton or Hudson, but I will be doing them in Banner Elk. If you are interested or have any questions please reach out!

Let’s talk about something a lot of girls lack doing. Practice.

Practice is not just “showing up”.
Practice is not just going to a team practice once a week.
Practice is not just going to a hitting coach occasionally.

Practice is what we do when no one is around.
Practice is trying to improve without needing the attention from others.
Practice is the dedication to be come a better ball player.

Don’t rest on showing up once a week to improve. Work for your goals. Nothing in life is easy, but if you work hard and are dedicated, it can become easier.

Let’s teach these girls that playing time/college scholarship/roster spots are not given but earned and it all starts by the work put in.

Hey everyone! Just wanted to give you a heads up on what lessons will start looking like in about 2-3 weeks!

Starting August 19 hours, location, and prices will change. Please read EVERYTHING BELOW

- No more Saturdays (This will change in the future)
- 30 minute lessons ONLY. No 1 hour lessons due to the limited time allowed (This will change in the future)
- 30 minute lessons will now be $30
- No more Monday location at Liberty Middle School

New Schedule:

(South Caldwell) Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, & Friday: 5:00PM-8:00PM

(Liberty) Wednesday: 4:00PM-8:00pm

This will be lasting for the next couple months, due to me working and all the girls starting school! If you have any questions/concerns please reach out! Thank you!

Softball is FUN! But lots of us forget that.

I personally know how frustrating the game can be when you put all your time into practicing and getting better, but once you hit the field, the stars don’t align.

I have seen more girls quit softball because of the stress of trying to be perfect in this game. But this is a game of MISTAKES!!! Some of the best hitters in the country are hitting .300, that means they are only getting 3 hits out of every 10 at bats.

Parents, coaches, and players, please remember that softball is not their identity. This is a game. Let them have fun, let them be able to laugh at their own mistakes, and let them make memories that will last a lifetime.
