Our hearts are absolutely broken for our fellow conference team as they face an unimaginable loss.

From the Raider family to yours, please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers during this incredibly difficult time. We are holding his family, friends, teammates and everyone who loved him close in our hearts.

There are no words that can make a loss like this easier, but we hope you can feel the support and love surrounding you from across our shooting sports community. We are thinking of you, praying for comfort and strength in the days ahead and sending our deepest condolences to everyone grieving this tremendous loss.

River Falls Shooting Sports Families,

Tomorrow, Saturday, October 24, we have an opportunity to come together to honor the life of one of our own.

All current and former River Falls Shooting Sports Team athletes, coaches, parents, family members, and friends are invited to join us at Regions Hospital at 10:00 AM for Max VanOverbeke's Honor Walk. Please arrive by 9:15 AM so everyone can be set up before the walk.

This will be a time to honor Max, remember the life he lived, and surround the VanOverbeke family with the love and support of our shooting sports community.

Upon arrival, please check in at the registration desk. Hospital staff will provide instructions on where to gather for the Honor Walk.

If you have a River Falls Shooting Sports jersey/apparel, we encourage you to wear it as a symbol of the team, the friendships, and the community that Max will always be a part of.

Whether you were Max's teammate, coach, friend, or simply part of the River Falls community, you are welcome to join us.

This is bigger than shooting sports. It's about family, friendship, community, and showing up for one another when it matters most.

As we come together to honor Max, may his family see just how deeply he was loved and how many lives he touched.
