🥶 Extreme Cold Closure Notice ❄️

Brrr.....while the views are stunning, the temperatures are not cooperating. Due to extreme cold, Holy Hill Ski Club will be CLOSED on Friday, January 23rd for the safety of our members, volunteers and staff.

🕙 We will reopen on Saturday, January 24th at 10AM.

Stay cozy, stay safe, and we will see you soon on the hill. ⛷️

❄️ HH Snow Science ❄️
Late December snow can be tricky - warmer ground and temperatures hovering near freezing mean snow melts faster than it does in January and February. Once deep winter arrives and the ground freezes, the snowpack sticks around much longer.
That's why this time of year takes extra care - and why we're incredibly grateful for our Operations Team, who've been working hard to keep the hill groomed and ready for families to enjoy holiday week at HH.

As the sun set on another ski weekend, our second weekend on the hill wrapped up with plenty of beauty-despite the deep freeze. Friday night was flawless, and even through below-zero temps, skiers showed up for their first turns of the season and for "just one more run." Cold, stunning, and ready for the week ahead. ❄️🎿
