As we continue the focus on our trainers, Brad Hemphill is next up! Brad came to us 3 years ago in a very part time fashion and has continued to get more tied in as other commitments have changed. This past winter he was full time with us and hoping he can be even more involved this summer! Brad grew up in Huber Heights like Derek and I and had a great soccer career! He was also one heck of a field goal kicker! He resides still in Huber where he just left the head coaching job at Wayne High School. He has been part of the school for many years, starting with the women’s head coaching position and then moving over to men’s, to eventually walking away to focus on his 3 wonderful girls and their growth in the game he so loves! Brad has been a huge add on to our team and continues adding a ton of value at Warrior Soccer Club where he coaches the 2017 girls!

Meet the trainers! As registrations open up for summer training we thought why not take some time to showcase our wonderful trainers! First up, the one most know and love! Derek Grajeda! Derek has been training with PDSA for 5 years now. And has truly helped the program grow through his involvement with the program, his relationships while coaching at Club Ohio Dayton and being one that lives in our community! Derek has coached for two main clubs over his career Warrior soccer club but resides now with Club Ohio coaching the 2011’s. He currently holds his D license but will be attaining his C this summer. Derek grew up playing at a very high level out of Huber Heights and ended up attending Ohio Dominican! We’re very proud to have Derek training in our program and also being one of my closest friends!

As winter training comes to a close and the kids start preparing for spring I must first Thank and share what a great partner GAC Fitness and sports performance center has been out of Springboro. It’s been the perfect space and having 16 kids out here getting better all winter has been great to be part of! It’s a chance we took to grow south a bit and it was a successful first winter! Please watch for us this summer!

First week of trainings in the books! 45 kids getting better! Two locations! 7 groups! Smaller groups = more focus on the player! More than just a practice! Intentional work on the ball to grow confidence! Week two, let’s go!

Groups have been sent with all training details! Still have only a couple spots free. Training starts in 2 weeks! Can’t wait to get this winter going with all these kids. 45 kids in the Dayton market are gonna get better this winter and be ready to attack their spring season. Derek, Brad snd I cant wait! Let’s go!
