My thoughts:
-Closing the Dojo is an end to long chapter in Mr Powells many adventures in life. I love his admiration and dedication to the sport of Judo, to his military career, and his work at Sinclair. He has touched many people in his life journey, and has many a story to tell. He is great influence and is loved by many, he would give you the shirt off his back to help you out.
-I hope everyone takes time to thank him for all he has done, the effort he put in to buildng the Dojo and sharing his love for the sport. Some of you will move on to another club, another art or activity. Whatever you do remember what (Mr) Sensei Powell tried to instil in your live, respect, love, disipline and attitude. Yet some will let this all pass by like the wind without at the least saying Thank You.
- In closing I would like to say Thank You to everyone I have met thru the Dojo, either by training together, coaching or just talking.
