Circle Senior Ava Saavedra-Fundora has agreed to be a part of the women’s team at Flagler College in St Augustine next Fall. Ava has been a part of the Circle girls team for 7 years (since 6th grade). Which included this year’s State Championship team. Congrats Ava!! We are all proud of your accomplishments.

Circle Alums Kaley Amuso and Samantha Wagner are competing in this weeks Epson Tour event in Lakeland at the Grasslands Golf & Country Club. The event will last Friday - Sunday. Samantha is a tour regular while Kaley, a Senior at Florida Southern, is playing as an amateur on a Sponsor Invite. Good luck ladies.

Circle Christian Senior, Ana Boone keeps the great play going as she recently won the AJGA - "Discover Puerto Rico Jr Championship." Her scores of 70 -68 -68 gave her a 3 day total of 10 under par. Ana is currently the 29th ranked Senior in the U.S. as she prepares to compete for Rice University in the Fall.

Circle Golf Alum can be found around the globe still competing. Jhared Hack (2007), and Daniel Core (2018) met up with each other in India while competing in the Q school for the Professional Golf Tour of India- Jhared finished in 2nd place. While Canon Claycomb (2020) is in South Africa competing in a European Challenge Tour event.

Circle Christian senior Bella Dohvey won a five-person playoff for the FHSAA Class 1A golf individual state final.

Circle Christian celebrates 3 Seniors who recently signed their Letter of Intent for college for next Fall. Anna Boone (Rice University), Bella Dovhey (U of Miami), Luke Gossett (U of North FL). All 3 leave Circle with a fantastic resume.
Anna & Bella leave as part of this year's team State Champion, making history with lowest team score ever by any Girls team in any division at the State Championship. Bella is also the current individual State Champion, and Ana's 67 at the State Championship and 65 at Qdoba are the school's lowest scores at these events in school history.
Luke, leaves as one of Circle's most decorated players, by winning the Individual State Championship in 2024 and finishing in 3rd place in 2025.
These bring the total number of players that have continued from Circle Christian School to collegiate play to 37 (since 2023).

Circle Girls won the 2025 State Championship yesterday with a 2 day total of 17 under par. The team placed 3 players in the top ten including individual champion Bella Dovhey who finished at 5 under par, and had to go through 3 holes of sudden death to capture the win. Anna Boone finished in 6th place 1 shot back at 4 under par, and Nicole Sardinha finished in 9th place at 1 under par. Great playing ladies. We are so proud of you. Circle now has 6 State Championships between the Boys and Girls teams.

Circle Boys concluded the State Championship with a 3rd place finish in the team competition for the 2nd year in a row. Sr. Luke Gossett finished in 3rd individually in defense of his individual title from 2024. Sophomore Karl Stenson had a top ten finish as he tied for 8th place. Great tournament and great season team !!!!

Circle’s boys team has qualified to move out of Regionals and into the FHSAA State Championship. The team shot an even par 288 and that coupled with their District and Regular Season ranking will rank them among the top teams competing in this years tournament. Congratulations team. And good luck at States.
