As we wrap up another incredible Kensington Junior Golf Tour season, we need to recognize three people who helped keep this whole thing moving. And, in some cases, kept Ben from completely derailing it. 😂⛳️
👏 TAYLOR
Taylor was the engine behind the scenes all summer.
Coordinating tee times. Answering questions. Communicating with parents. Keeping everything organized, which, if you know Ben, you understand was arguably her most difficult assignment of the season. 😂
Whenever we needed help on the course, she jumped in without hesitation.
And if you haven’t had the opportunity to get to know Taylor, she’s also absolutely hilarious. We’re incredibly grateful for all the work nobody sees that made every event possible.
👏 RYAN
Checking in dozens of junior golfers and somehow getting everyone to the correct tee ON TIME deserves its own trophy.
Ryan was outstanding all season.
When things got hectic, Ryan stayed calm. When a rules question came up, his knowledge of the game was invaluable. When a junior needed some help, he was always willing to step in.
And perhaps his greatest accomplishment of 2026…
His calligraphy improved dramatically. 😂🖊️
Those handwritten scoreboards went from “we might need an interpreter” to borderline professional by the Tour Championship.
👏 CUBBIE
Every junior golf tournament needs a Cubbie.
There can be a lot of nerves standing on that first tee. Cubbie had an incredible ability to make kids laugh, relax and remember that golf is supposed to be FUN.
His personality was infectious, and the kids absolutely loved him.
He also possessed a mysterious superpower rarely seen in junior golf:
Getting groups around the golf course in 4 hours and 15 minutes. 😂👏
Scientists are still studying how this was accomplished.
And, of course, no KJGT season would be complete without Cubbie providing the hard-hitting journalism everyone was waiting for…

Taylor, Ryan and Cubbie — THANK YOU.
Thank you for the early mornings.
Thank you for the long days.
Thank you for answering questions.
Thank you for helping kids.
Thank you for solving problems.
Thank you for making people laugh.
And most importantly, thank you for caring about these juniors.
The Kensington Junior Golf Tour is about so much more than scores and trophies. It’s about creating an environment where kids can learn, compete, make friends, laugh, make mistakes and grow.
The three of you played a HUGE role in creating that environment this summer.
The Tour appreciates you more than you’ll ever know, and we are forever grateful to have you as part of the KJGT family. ❤️⛳️
