Hi Students, parents, instructors and Masters! I hope you are all enjoying the summer and training hard.
Things have changed significantly for me. Master Sue-Zen's Dojo is no longer in existence as a Martial Arts school. I can't express the sadness this brings me. I was hoping one day retiring in a 'blaze of glory', (a small flicker most likely) with an event and demonstrations and fund raisers however small and humble it would be. I've been
Fighting as most people know , cancer, quite well, since 2003. I'm missing more body parts than I have left.
This post is however about you.
I'm very happy that since the school closing several of my students have moved on as they should. Once Martial Arts is in your blood it should be for life.
Congratulations to the students and families who have joined Grandmaster Art Beins and and Master Larry Mesimer. I haven't seen or spoken to Master Beins for several years but I've always had a great respect for him. His school is top notch!
Good job 'grasshoppas' for continuing 👏! I miss everyone more than I can express but life changes and we sometimes have to make tough decisions.
Good luck, stay strong and listen to your instructors. They are there to guide you through some of the best experiences of your lives!
Personally my mission for the past many years has been to help, calm and possibly inspire those who've been affected by this insidious, cruel and brutal disease. I'm available for anyone who may want to talk, ask questions, compare notes, etc. Just send me a message. I'm in for the fight of my life again. And I will fight like a warrior again. đź’Ş
Keep on kicking everyone!
