🛑 SKY’S THE LIMIT!

🔥 I used to cap myself out on my own dreams … like not to be greedy and because I didn’t think that kind of stuff was meant for me … it even got to the point where I stopped dreaming because I felt like I should just be happy with what I have.

🔥 But then one day I was like WTF are you doing? You put a cap on your own dreams??? Oh helllll NO! I realized that dreaming big wasn’t being greedy it was knowing my own worth. It was about finally seeing what I am capable of and what I could give back to others. How could I do all the things I know that are meant for me if I cap myself out out of fear???

🔥 I went back to the drawing board, back to basics and realized that my dreams were in fact BIG but never TOO BIG! I was letting fear holding me back from dreaming. I could feel it deep in my soul that I was just scratching the surface on all I could do and create but needed to push through the fear. I sat with that feeling for a while and could see myself being able to give so much to our community, being able to grow our community, support our community and be a catalyst for more for every person who walks through that door!

🔥 And that is when I realized that the SKY’S THE LIMIT … Fear means Face Everything And Rise … Tiday we RISE … Do not cap yourself out, dream big because you deserve it all! So as my fave NOTORIOUS B.I.G once said “To all my ladies in the place with style and grace … Sky’s the Limit”! ⛅️

🔥 TAKE IT FROM SURVIVE TO THRIVE … that’s where we are headed, ARE YOU WITH ME?

🔥 I realized in the last few weeks that the energy I started my business in was an energy of survival. I can clearly remember saying all I wanted was to survive … I needed somewhere to keep my community together and I knew that I wanted to give them and myself a place to call HOME for real! I was in a strict state of survival mode in every area of my life … I was breaking apart but refused to fall … I was sitting in the belly of the fire but knew I had to RISE UP but I put an invisible cap on how high I would rise!
🔥 As soon as I opened, 2 weeks later the pandemic hit and the s**t truly hit the fan. I was really in survival mode with the weight of the world on my shoulders. I didn’t skip a beat because I knew I couldn’t … I have spent most of my life in survival mode just making the best of everything. That’s literally what I’m known for … making the best of it! As much as it’s a blessing to find joy in the small things and to be a light in the darkness, it doesn’t mean that we always have to settle for just surviving, for making the best of bare minimum … what message are we sending out?!?!
🔥 I realized that the SURVIVOR is who I’ve been but now it’s time to THRIVE. To change the energy … we proved we could survive as a collective, we proved that we can handle what’s thrown at us and still come back out of the darkness. But we are done with that s**t … now we have to shine brighter and now can desire more than survival .. we can desire it all and have it all, whatever that looks like for you. You don’t have to have a limit on what you dream because no dream is too big … stop putting an invisible cap on what life can look like for you because we are scared we are asking for too much.

🔥 It’s TIME!

🔥 You’ve kept her in that cage long enough .. she’s anxious, her palms are sweaty but SHE IS READY.

🔥 You see that door has been left open but you keep peeking outside and then choosing to stay inside, you would fly around the cage but then come back inside for safety … Oh I get it, believe me, it’s safe in there and you don’t have to worry about falling! To fly without a safety net is scary … so many “what ifs” but the biggest of all is “What if I never took the chance?” … you’ll never know all you are capable of …. You’ll never get to that next step, obtain the dream you’ve kept in your heart for so long and get to witness all the magic that happen when you just FLY and take a chance on YOU!

🔥 My word for 2023 is FLY … I have definitely come a long way over the years and I thought I decided to FLY 3 years ago but I had the safety of the cage around me and I would flap my wings outside but always knew the cage was there for safety or so I thought. What I’ve come to realize is this whole time the cage has been slowly breaking down all on its own because something bigger than me knew it was time!

🔥 This Year we use our powerful and beautiful wings to freakin FLY … because it’s time to make it all happen … “What if I fall? Oh my darling but what if you FLY?” -xo Gee ♥️
