Someone asked me, 'When do you find family time with all these baseball tournaments?'

I looked around at our cooler full of snacks,
our camp chairs in a circle,
my husband teaching our youngest how to keep score while we cheer for our oldest...

and I realized -

this IS our family time.

We're not missing out on memories,
we're making them.

Every road trip to a tournament,
every shared hotel room,
every gas station stop for snacks -
it's all family time.

Just not the kind you see in magazines.

Words can't explain how incredibly proud I am of this team. Not only the player but the coaches ,parents and siblings as well. There is not an entitled person anywhere in this group. The players just want to learn and get better. The parents just want their kids to get better and enjoy each other's company. It is truly a pleasure to be a part of this team. A big Thank You to Kyle Brown Luke Nolan and Andy Sidorski. You guys have done an amazing job this year. A giant Thank you to Brandy Goins for dealing with me during a long tournament weekend because she know what it means to me.

Keep Grinding Higlanders!!
