Wednesday June 17th will be our 1st evening open tournament held at Glendale from 6-9. $10 per person and 3 fish limit per boat. Changes to payout this year due to increased permit fees. 1st place will payout 50%, 2nd will get to fish for free the following week and the rest will go to the club. Tournaments will be held every Wednesday starting the 17th until further notice (usually end of September).

The Morann Bass Team Series held their second tournament of the year which was held at Pymatuning. 11 anglers competed and the results are as follows: 1st place went to Michael Bird and Jason Ocker with a 4 fish limit weighing 10.21 # and 3.2 # lunker, 2nd was Dave and John Gallo with 7.20 # and third place team was Ken Wagner and Dan Sanders with 5.76 #. Congratulations Guys! Next tournament will be held at Sayers on June 20th at 530 out of lower green launch.

Next Saturday is the 2nd tournament of the year. It is being held at Pymatuning from 530-1230 and launching out of Snodgrass. Weather looks great and I hope to see everyone there.

Today we had our 1st tournament of the year at Yellow Creek. Conditions were brutal. 11 members / 7 boats showed up. Only 2 boats had fish to weigh in. Mike Bird and Jason Ocker took 1st place with a 3 fish limit for 9.88 # and lunker 3.88 #. Jason Wagner took 2nd with 8.11 #. Congratulations guys and thanks to everyone that braved the elements today. Our next tournament will be held at Pymatuning on Saturday May 16th.

The tournament is still a go for tomorrow at Yellow Creek. Water is up some so if you plan on using the dock I would wear some sort of waterproof boot. Water might drop some overnight.

Just a reminder that our 1st tournament of the year will be held this Saturday at Yellow Creek State Park from 8-3. This is a team event but can also fish solo. New members welcome. Club fee per person to join is $20 and tournament fee is $20 plus $5 lunker. Will pay out 1 place for every 5 boats with max of 3 places.
